70's Revival Singlefins

  The Gabezilla

  The Quadradamus

Length: 6’8" - 8’2"

70's Revival Singlefins - Rediscover your soul. If you never had any these might help you along a more righteous path. The V-bottom swallowtail, and displacement hull round pin when ridden properly will smooth out your style, and help eliminate unnecessary spasms.

The Gabezilla - Co-designed by Jon Wegener and Gabe Whorley. Unsatisfied with the sluggish feeling of a belly bottomed soft-railed noserider, we pulled the concave down to the fin, but kept the soft rails. This creates a fast feeling, confident nose rider.

It also has a thin nose and tail that helps the board flex into the pocket. A glass on fin will produce optimum performance.

Jon Wegener says: “I never liked noseriding boards before we made the Gabezilla model because I always felt like I was going backwards. This model noserides with speed and sticks in the pocket.”

Length: 6’6" - 7’6"

The Quadradamus (quad egg) - One of these boards may be in your future! Shortboard quads are for the kids, this board gives you the rush of a quad but with an easier transition from your other boards. It flies on small waves, but stays in control in overhead surf. Like a longboard, you can move up the deck and get an exhilarating trim. They paddle easily; you can still compete for waves with longboarders.

The Green Flash

  The Nerd

  The Rehab

Length: 8’4" - 9’

The Green Flash - A shorter longboard with light concaves on its bottom contour for performance surfing. Hit the lip hard, tube ride, and coaster down the line. The green flash is a great traveler. It is short and light enough to navigate crowded airports. This model covers you in any wave situation.

Jon Wegener says: “I developed this board because there are times when I need to longboard but still want the option of doing harder turns. When I only have room for one board in my car, and I don’t know what the waves are like I take the Green Flash.”

Length: 6’6" - 7’8"

The Nerd - An alternative to a gunnier board. This board has the same bottom as a gun. It has a slight V-bottom though the tail, but a little fuller in the front half of the board. I find this works out well for California’s winter swells. I use a squash tail version that is 7’0 by 20.5”. I have heard people goof on its outline as I’m paddling out, but after seeing the ease of catching waves and no loss of performance the goofers have become customers. The Nerd is not a sexy board, it is practical and intelligent.

Custom or stock longboards,
from 9’0" - 10'6"

The Rehab - This model is for those who complain they can’t catch waves, or bought a specialty longboard that doesn’t fit their style. The rehab has mild rocker and mild down-rails. The rehab noserides well, but excels at trimming from the middle and turns easily from the tail. This board works well in the majority of waves up and down the California Coast.

The Wegg

  Twins & Quads

  Your Fast Friend Mini-Gun

Length: 5’10" - 7’

The Wegg is surprisingly more functional than its appearance. It is an alternative to the fish. It is as fast as a fish, due to its plane shape. It is looser than a fish, but not as squirrelly because of the stability of the third fin. I like to ride these boards in head high surf because they tube ride well and are loose enough to do lip tricks. They are great wave catchers. I have also found that the Wegg works extremely well going backside.

Twins & Quads - It is hard to go back to standard trifins after riding twins and quads. Their speed, maneuverability, and ease cannot be matched. I like twins in smaller waves, and quads when it gets a little bigger. With a couple of coasters Mr. Sulu takes it to warp speed, you’ve made the section, and you’re ready to lay a hard cut back.

Length: 6’6" - 7’6"

Your Fast Friend Mini-Gun - A board you don’t use every day, but when the surf gets heavier, this board is a trustworthy companion. Like a long lost friend…you haven’t seen since last winter, but after all this time you haven’t missed a step. Rocker and dimensions vary slightly with intended surf spots. This board is meant to be custom built for your body size and where you surf.
